• libarchive is now used instead of file-roller for creating archives;
  
• Brasero is used to burn selected photos to CD/DVD;
• user guide was added (written in Mallard);
• free text search for URI and tags;
  
• sorting in reverse chronological bas on modification date;
• no more frames for thumbnails in browser;
• more GNOME HIG compliant exporting dialog;
  
• a bunch of bigs fixed;
  
• new and updated translations: Bengali, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, Slovenian, Serbian, Serbian Latin, Swedish, Ukrainian, Chinese (Taiwan).
