Scribus lab in Zürich, June 6, 2010

The new graphics lab in Zü rich is taking place on June 6 and focusing on desktop publishing and Scribus, a free DTP application, in particular.

Unless you are a really old-school kind of person, you already know how to use computers, so the lab is bypassing introductions and is getting to the point of desktop publishing. During the lab you will learn basics of creating layouts and typesetting with Scribus.

The lab will be led by Alessandro Rimoldi who is an active contributor to Scribus. Alessandro has been teaching Scribus and other free software for graphic design since last year.

Place: Dock18, Rote Fabrik, Zü rich, Time: June 6, 2pm—6pm. There are just three spare laptops in the venue, so please bring your laptop.

Labs are taking place each first Sunday of a month, so if you miss this one, check out the schedule for the next session.
