Photoropter 0.0.3 released

Robert Fendt released first public version of Photoropter — a library to correct lens distortions. The project was started in many ways because of disagreement regarding design of LensFun.

What the library is capabale of right now is:

  • C++ interface;
  • fix geometric distortions using PTLens model;
  • fix vignetting;
  • bilinear interpolation (Lanczos is next);
  • oversampling support;
  • multithreading using OpenMP;
  • arbitrary gamma correction functions;
  • automatic conversion of settings based on crop-factor and aspect ratio;
  • region of interest support.

There also is documentation for developers on the website. The library is distributed under terms of MIT/X11 license.
