MeshLab 1.3.0 released with improved UI

After nince months of work a new version of MeshLab, a free 3D triangular mesh processing tool, is out with some useful new features and improvements.

MeshLab is being developed by a team from Visual Computing Lab at the ISTI - CNR institute.

Changes in this version:

  • a single shared layer window now always displayes layers for the current document only;
  • new behavior for filter creating meshes;
  • new interface and behaviour for decoration plugins, dynamic parameters are possible now;
  • the view/window mechanism was revisited, the results are:
    • multiple windows of the same mesh;
    • standard orthographic viewing directions like up/down/left etc.;
    • copy/paste of current viewing parameters between different windows;
  • isoparametrization finally works;
  • new Radiance Scaling rendering mode.

You can download the new version here.
