Mango project gets a blog, initial team is announced
The new open movie by Blender Institute, codename "Mango project", just has got a blog all to itself.
Let us remind you that this time it's going to be a short live action movie, 3 to 5 minutes, with lots of VFX. The fact the director of the film is Ian Hubert from Project London should tell you a lot. And if it doesn't, here is a teaser from Project London:
The team is still shaping up. So far it's Ian Hubert, Ton Roosendaal, Jeremy Davidson and Sebastian Koenig. Brecht van Lommel (Cycles engine) and Sergey Sharybin (camera/motion tracking) agreed to assist on the development side of work.
Blender Institute will start accepting portfolio submissions in November. Stay tuned for updates.
