Laidout 0.09
Apparently Tom Lechner hid the RSS link on Laidout's website so well that very few people discovered he released in February a new version of this crazy app after 2.5 years of work :)

More on this topic:
Changes:
- few vector-based formats can be imported now, the data thatLaidout cannot understand yet, won't be discarded, it will be preserved and saved back (you can try to reimpose a Scribus document, save it back and edit it in Scribus further);
- simple scripting API for running scripts from console (example);
- you can say add, delete, load and save scratch spaces and not only them, so you don't need to recreate them every time you start the application;
- more flexible 3D models importing, e.g. you can use an OFF file for unwrapping;
- gradients and gradient meshes display transparency now.
