Istok 0.2

A couple of weeks ago Andrey Panov silently released second public version of his new sans serif Istok font family.

The family contains four basic faces (regular, bold, italic, bold italic). For a very few glyphs CM Bright was used as a base, but all the rest glyphs were designed from ground up. Only Latin and Cyrrilics are supported at this time.

Changes in this version:

  • bold italic face was added;
  • manual instructions were created for most of the regular face.

The rest of the faces have automatic instructions by FontForge for now.
