Inkscape 0.48.1 finally out with major bugfixes

Patience has been finally rewarded: a major bugfix release of Inkscape, a popular free vector graphics editor, is out after half a year of hard work.

Almost 80 bugs have been fixed, some of them really notorious: exporting of masked objects to PDF, PS and PNG via Cairo, incorrect drawing of rulers (Ubuntu 10.10 users suffered most), as well as some bugs that used to crash our beloved Inkscape.

The official overview of changes and known issues is available here. Translations to the following languages were updated: Korean, Indonesian, Spanish, Turkish.

Some bugs have already been fixed and translations updated after the release was cut, so there will be 0.48.2, and then it will be time for 0.49 with new features.
