Hugin team moves its tracker to Launchpad, releases first beta of 2010.4
There seems to be growing dissatisfaction with SourceForge services. Two years after Inkscape another major graphics project, Hugin, changes bug tracker from SF to Launchpad.
If you intend to report bugs or feature requests for this popular cross-platform panorama stitcher, you will have to do it here now. Yuv Levy who does the job of project maintainer posted some more information in his blog.
Meanwhile the first beta of upcoming Hugin 2010.4 has just been uploaded for testers who want to be the first to try the latest and greatest. The new version is going to feature a long anticipated built-in control points generator — result of several successful GSoC projects over last few years. Among other features worth mentioning are further batch processing improvements and various enhancements in user experience department.
The final release of 2010.4 is currently expected end of this year. You can fetch source code along with binary builds for Windows here. Mac builds are not available yet.
