HPLIP gets autodetection of missing plug-ins

In the middle of pre-Christmas release rush HP updated its Linux drivers for printers and MFPs.

It's quite possible that we were baaaaad, baaaaad users this year, because the only new feature is autodetention autodetection and installation of missing plug-ins.

Of course the usual support for a bunch of new devices squeezed through the chimney. A quick premature look into the tiny red sock above the fireplace reveals no less than:

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601n
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601dn
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602n
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602dn
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602x
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603n
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603dn
  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603xh
  • HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M275nw
  • HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M275s
  • HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M275t
  • HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M275u
  • HP Photosmart 5510d e-All-in-One

And what the baaaad users get is, of course, buuuuugfixes, over a dozen of them. The complete list is available here.

The HPLIP Eve tradition demands downloading either source code archive or an installer. Both are there for you :)
