Hewlett-Packard releases HPLIP 3.11.1 with new features and support for more devices
Hewlett-Packard released v3.11.1 of its Linux drivers for scanning and printing devices.
Apart from usual bugfixes and support for new devices this version has a number of new features. In this version you get:
- new fax protocol (Low End Data Model) support;
- alignment of cartridges over LEDM (auto, semi-automatic and manual);
- ADF and color scan support for HP LaserJet Pro M1132, M1136, M1212nf, M1213nf, M1217nfw MFP devices;
- new encapsulation format for LJZJStream class;

- HP LaserJet M1536dnf/M1537dnf/M1538dnf/M1539dnf MFP
- HP Color LaserJet CM4540 MFP ? CP5520;

- HP Deskjet Ink Adv 2010 K010 ? 2060 K110
- HP Officejet 6500 E710a-f
- Debian 5.0.6 ? 5.0.7, Fedora 14, Ubuntu 10.10 are officially supported now;
- user guide for CentOS, Fedora, Mint 9 and RHEL users was updated;
- various bugfixes
