Guitar samples in GIG format from Flame Studio Collection shared

A while ago we noticed that free guitar samples in GIG format recorded by Gary Campion in 2008 are not available anymore. So we temporarily fixed that by sharing them via torrents.

Gary recorded the samples from both bridge and neck pickups (in some cases, both) and left them raw and unprocessed so that you could freely apply your own effects chain. Eventually he ran out of disk space or whatever, so there was quite a bit of a link rot.

We chose The Pirate Bay for sharing the samples (out of mischief really). But if anybody's willing to upload them to archive.org or elsewhere, don't hesitate to drop a note. Apparently TPB doesn't work for everyone.

Oh, and there is a banjo too: FS Kay 5-String Banjo. All the samples listed above are free as in GNU GPL.

Flame Studio Collection guitar samples in Gsampler

If you are on Linux, you can use LinuxSampler and one of its GUIs like Qsampler, Gsampler or Fantasia (JSampler) to load and play the samples. LS does direct disk playback, so it doesn't really load your memory too much.
