New stable version of Ghostscript was released by Artifex. Ghostscript is a quite popular free Postscript and PDF interpreter.

Main changes are:

• a new, robust CFF parser;
• a new virtual tiffscaled device that renders internally as tiffgray, but then downsamples by an integer scale factor;
• DSC compatible output was added to ps2write;
• performance, memory use, and stability improvements, as well a bugfixes.
