Geometry constructions editor AlDraw is released

First version of a small geometry constructions editor called AlDraw is out. The little nifty tool is written in Java and will run on any desktop system.

In a way AlDraw compensates for temporary unavailability of an earlier developed Geometry Constructions tool in Inkscape.

AlDraw

AlDraw uses its own binary file format for storing drawings, but exports to SVG, so you can edit your illustrations in Inkscape later. It's worth noting however that not all elements are currently saved to SVG.

The application seems to be making use of all three mouse buttons, but doesn't hint at it. Hopefully this will be taken care of in future versions. But this version you can download right now.
