digiKam 1.5.0 now uses LensFun in batch processing
New version of digiKam, a photo collections management tool for KDE, was released today with some new features, but mostly — with bugfixes.
Overall 54 bugs were fixed, as for the new features, here is the list:
- LensFun was included as 3rd party library, mostly to ease compilation on systems like Windows;
- batch queue manager now allows applying lens corrections via LensFun;
- another new thing batch queue manager now allows to do is removing metadata from images;
- internal editor now does much better 8bit to 16bit per color channel transformation.
