digiKam 1.4.0 gets bugfixes and duplicates removal

New version of digiKam, a photo collections management app for KDE, was released. This version fixes 27 bugs and adds duplicates removal for mass renaming.

Since many of this week's news mention Google Summer of Code, I'm happy to say that both digiKam's GSoC students have passed. Their code (non-destructive editing and face recognition) will be available in v2.0 (due to be out around Christmas) and, presumably, many of its beta releases.
