Canonical to release its own typeface

After RedHat with its Liberation and Pingwin Software with its PWT Canonical, who manage creation of Ubuntu Linux distrubution, will do its own typeface.

The typeface will be called Ubuntu as well and it's going to be a humanist font. They don't say if it's going to be a sans serif or antiqua humanist font, though.

The work will be done by Dalton-Maag type foundry, whose clients in different times were BMW, PUMA, Skoda, BT and others.
