Adobe participates at jQuery development

Having announced involvement into jQuery open source project back in November 2010 at MAX, Adobe finally got around telling what is it exactly that they do.

In short, Adobe currently focuses on the following two projects:

  • jQuery Mobile — a touch-optimized UI framework for smartphones and tablets;
  • jQuery Data Grid — a dynamic grid component for development of  generic data and template models.

This collaboration is supposed to be a two-way street: Adobe implements and/or improves support for jQuery in their products while contributing to the upstream projects.

You can stay on track with their work visiting or subscribing to new Adobe's blog called jQuery & Adobe.
